This place has been on my list for years and I'm so happy I went. Amazing experience and food. First off- I love the easy res system through Yelp. I was able to walk right in at my time. Also I like that they texted me beforehand asking for my preference to be inside of outside. We chose outside on their cute patio area. Now to the food. Everything was so good! Loved the free focaccia while we waited for our food. We ordered two main dishes- fusilli with ragu bolognese ($19.95) and pappardelle bosciola ($24.95) with a side of filet mignon ($16). Everything was great but the pappardelle and steak combo was so delicious! Seriously one of the best Italian dishes I've ever had.. and I've visited Italy! We had to leave room for dessert so we got the panne cotte with Nutella ($6.95) and cannoli ($6.95). If you are a chocolate fan the panne cotte is so good! I also did takeout before with this restaurant... their paninis are incredible too! They also have a great lunch special I want to try. I'm already looking forward to coming back and trying more things on the menu!

The food is solid! I would go back just for the panna cota is marvelous! Service is on point but I went for lunch! Ambiance is def Italy. Sweet

Ambiance: Casual Italian Service: Great Food: Delicioso I could eat their HAND-MADE pasta all day. It's so soft, delicious, and never sits heavy after a meal. Pastas: I would recommend their Alfredo, Pesto Alla Genovese, Panna & Funghi, and Ragu Bolognese. Starters: Bruschetta di Burrata, Arancini, and their Pergoletta Salad. Other dishes: 10oz meatballs. Parking: Lot/Street Tips: Parking can be difficult. I would recommend arriving a little earlier and wearing comfy shoes in case you need to park in a residential area and walk over. There's plenty of residential parking available.

Located in a strip mall. Parking lot is small so be prepared to park Hillhurst or in the side street neighborhood. Sunday night dinner. We were seated right away. I do like the simplicity of menu. Choose your pasta then your sauce and add a protein if you choose to. Started with the Cesar salad and focaccia bread with olive oil and balsamic for dipping. The bread is perfect . Flavor and its bite sized pieces so you don't overindulge before a plate of pasta arrives. I had the spaghetti with a broccoli olive oil, garlic, cheese and chili. Pasta is al dente and the chili gives quite a kick! The sauce is not oily or saucy. It's dry and not like a bolognese if that makes sense. You can smell the garlic as soon as it's place In front of you. I added a couple of spoons of Parmesan which made this perfectly tasty. I was hoping to get a sangria but they were out. Prosecco was the back up and really not anything like sangria. Definitely would return if in the area. Great having a neighborhood Italian restaurant like this when you live close by. And, Staff is helpful and pleasant.

Authentic Italian spot with great service. All their pastas taste fresh and are well executed. Deli operates during the week, and they have a great lunch deal. Parking is relatively easy.

Type of venue - Italian Venue Access - Average; located in a strip mall off a major street but street parking is hit/miss and the parking lot adjacent to venue is very small. Time of day good for - Lunch/dinner Wait time - Party of 3 arriving 12:30pm on a Saturday was seated instantly in the patio outside. Service - Great; staff was attentive and fast What was ordered - Lunch special of spaghetti & meatballs with the daily soup, a beverage, and complimentary focaccia. Does it taste good - Yes Any grievance - No Price/Performance - Great (lunch specials); good for the other offerings. Food tasted very good and portions are adequate to sizable so the value proposition isn't bad. Did I get a stomachache after eating here? No Would revisit? Yes Additional Notes - Place gives off very old school vibes.

Food: The pasta is very nicely made. Love the texture. The Ragu Bolognese sauce is nice yet I have tasted better. On the other hand, the Lasagna Boscaiola is fantastic. Service: the staff welcomed us very warmly and the serving staff is very kind and nice as well. Lovely smile while provided recommendations. Ambiance: the whole restaurant is more like a country side kind of casual warm setting and they reuse the wine bottles to handle the candles which is very cute. More suitable for a casual date dinner but not like a romantic one.

We came here for lunch. The lunch specials are reasonable at $15.95 including soup/salad and drink. Soup and salad were both great. I had the Penne Arabiata, which had me mopping up the sauce with bread, after the pasta. Very tasty. We also had the Panna e Funghi, but with Fettuccine instead of Parppadelle. Also very good! For desert we had a Panne Cotta and a Tiramisu. Probably one of the best Tiramisu's that I've tried. All in all, this has become one of our go to places in LA.
